“Stayed many times in this hotel over the years. It's great for all be it families or couples or friends. Great location for access to town and park. Leisure Centre and Spa is perfect for the rainy days. Fabulous food but it is a bit pricey. Starters are small for the price they are. Cocktails were delicious and not too bad of a price considering.”

My sister in law joined us and her husband who also booked with you and same thing happened with their room. I stayed in the hotel before in a room that was not for a disabled person very disappointed with it also wasn't very clean.”

“Lovely hotel but bar service very poor. Tables not cleared off, had to ask someone to take our food order, 30 mins after eating plates still on the table and no order for dessert enquiry. Definitely no manager on duty! Kids got a lovely little gift bag on arrival, which included vouchers for free crisps/drinks at the bar, the barmen knew nothing about them! Nice selection for breakfast and kids enjoyed the pool.”

“I attended a wedding at the hotel last Thursday and I have to say everything about the hotel was absolutely amazing food was delicious and room was spacious. There was a young man serving cocktails and beer after the ceremony and the cocktail was amazing he told me it was gin and raspberries I would love the recipe for it ???? the man that checked me in was lovely and really friendly we would definitely be back ahlgain for a visit ????”

The welcome packs for children went down a treat. The carvery was so delicious as was our evening meal in the bar. Great value as well. The breakfast was out of this world. We can't wait to return.”

We think their online documents need to be updated though as the breakfast menu does not indicate that it's self service & I'm not sure if everything on the menu was available. Also, the drinks menu did not reflect the price we paid for a pint of Guinness & a pint of Peroni. It was much more expensive than stated on menu. Other than that our stay was great.”

“I have stayed in Hundreds of hotels all over the world and I can safely say this is the first hotel that if you want to have a drink after 11.30 at night you have to walk in to the town.Do not book this hotel if you like to have a couple of pints after11.30 during the week or 1.30 at the weekend.No residents bar, no room service, how this has a 4 star rating is beyond me.”

“Travelled with small kids and we were welcomed at reception with gift bags for the kids and tokens for small treats. Was a lovely touch. Family room was also top quality, super impressed by it. Only reason not to give a 5 rating was the bar food menu is a bit limited. Overall definitely recommend this hotel for a family break.”

We had the use of their sensory bedroom during our stay and it was clear how much thought and effort had went into the planning of this. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the prices for the evening menu etc was very reasonable. We will definitely return.”

“Stayed here for one night for my friends birthday. Check in was easy and efficient with a friendly receptionist greeting us, I think her name was Courtney, a blonde girl she was very nice. The hotel has been done up in the last few years and it has a lovely lobby, bar and restaurant and outdoor Courtyard area. The bedroom was nice and modern with a little fridge which was really handy for drinks etc and spotless clean. Breakfast the next day was excellent with such a good choice, they even had blue cheese and olive's and Parma ham! We went out for dinner but came back later on for some drinks before bedtime and there was a good atmosphere in the bar. All staff were very helpful and efficient and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again well done all in the Tullamore Court Hotel.”

“Check in was supposed to be at 3pm and our room wasn’t ready. It was really stressful having 2 small kids running around reception and trying to entertain them after a drive from Dublin. Girl from reception gave them some crayons and colouring pages to try entertain them as she could see we were struggling, which was really nice of her. All the hotel staff were so friendly, nearly every staff member stopped for a friendly chat. My 5 year old was delighted with the kids club despite being the only child to turn up to it on the first night, the girls running it were great. Food in the bar restaurant was absolutely gorgeous, as was the breakfast buffet both mornings. They made pancakes for my 5 year old and brought them out to her, she was in her element. I have to say the one thing that really stood out was how helpful and friendly all the staff were, they really went above and beyond. Thanks for a great midterm break stay ????”

Dessert was quite poor and tasteless - we had a sticky toffee pudding to share. I had booked a twin room in error instead of a double room, reception were very accommodating and changed to an available room which was a family room - the room was very basic but clean and quiet! We went for breakfast at 10.30am and what was on offer was very poor. I understand it was late in the morning however if breakfast bookings are until 10.30 there should be a good variety of food for all of breakfast service.”

“We loved the hotel. It was clean snd good facilities. The staff we nice and friendly snd the swimming pool was a hit with the kids. Unfortunately the staff in the bar were not very attentive to us when we were eating there. Lots of staff standing around the bar area not servicing diners. I had to go up to the bar myself to get drinks during dinner. There seemed to be only one waitress on the floor while the rest stood by the til chatting. Also food not great. Burger was very uncooked even though I asked for it well done.”

“Restaurant is very dear and not a lot of options on the menu. There is a picture of a playground on their website which is misleading as there is no playground. I was charged extra to switch to a Friday night even though on the lidl site the rooms were available for the same price as the Thursday. No mention of a supplement on the lidl site.”

The also didn't like the evening food as mine are fuss so ate out after the first night. But staff and hotel were all great, room was quite big family room. Will stay again.”

“My husband and I had stayed in the hotel previously and found the stay to be very enjoyable. On this occasion our experience was not so good. We were in a room which had a connecting door to the next room. The person in the next room was unfortunately very loud and we could hear his entire conversation for over an hour. which was not ideal at 1.00 in the morning. When we checked in we were told the only breakfast time was 8.15 so we decided to have breakfast delivered to our room. When the breakfast had not arrived by 9.45 my husband checked the breakfast request had been taken from the door and unfortunately it had not. My daughters were in an other room and they did not receive cutlery with their breakfast or milk. The restaurant did facilitate us and the breakfast was most enjoyable. The receptionist enquired if we enjoyed our stay I said there were a few issues she said she would get a manager to call us which has never happened.”

“Really pleasant stay in the Midlands. Stayed with 2 children. They loved the pool facilities. We had an unexpected bonus with an evening kids club that runs from 5 to 9. The girls were fantastic here and even my 10 year old son wanted to go back. You could drop just for part of the time and they were very flexible. Breakfast was nice, they bring an tiered plate for pastries etc, only complaint is that these are pre made and are the same if u are 2 adults or a family with 4 kids. Room was nice, clean and covid friendly”

“With the b&b deal it was good value for money. coffee is desperate by any standards. Due to restrictions we booked pool, dinner and breakfast prior to arrival, On arrival no access to pool, breakfast time changed. “Excellent hotel ( perfect distance from Dublin - 1 hours drive)- lovely leisure-centre and gym-very welcoming reception and excellent breakfast- lots to do around Tullamore- ( 10 mins walk to town centre and 15 mins walk to Tullamore Dew Visitors centre)- walked the canal from Tullamore to Ballycommon( 8km) on Day 1- pub owner Gerry opened pub for us (family group of 6 adults)- very welcoming- nice guiness and warm stove- then on Day 2 we did 5km looped walk starting at Kinnity Castle( 20 mins drive) car park- very nice lunch in Kinnity Castle afterwards- good selection of restaurants/coffee shops in Tullamore and the hotel restaurant and bar food good too.- Value breaks worked out good value as we had 3 rooms booked and would be much more expensive if we booked directly with the hotel”

Its a great location at the top of the town, only an hour drive from Dublin, you can easily park up your car and walk to the town. There is a lovely play park around the corner. Tullamore is also served well by trains and Bus Eireann and a private bus service also. Definitely recommend it for a relaxing break.”

“My Husband and I stayed here for two nights this week and we loved it. Its rare in larger hotels to find staff who are so upbeat and committed. It was a wet Sunday afternoon when we arrived and the hotel was justifiably busy with locals seeking their Sunday lunch. Despite this we were handled efficiently and pleasantly at check in. The room was large and very clean with everything we needed. Okay the view overlooking the local petrol station wasn't ideal but we didn't choose a hotel in a market town for post card scenes. The breakfasts were just right. Enough variety but without waste. I stuck to the fresh fruit and yogurt of which there was plenty followed by a succulent piece of haddock so good I had it again the second night. My husband went the more traditional route of cornflakes followed by poached eggs....done just right. Our stay included an evening meal. If there was anything a bit disappointing it was this. Its services in a no frilled bistro type setting in the bar....no table cloth for example. The set menu was limited and the food was well cooked but unimaginative. My starter was a bacon ceasar salad... a very strange concoction overloaded with slices of crispy bacon on lettuce and dressing with exactly three croutons. I was glad my husband didn't have a starter as I got him to take some of the bacon off my hands. He had the grilled salmon main course with mashed potatoes and veg...alright I suppose but really something you'd get together yourself of a weekday evening at home. I opted for the thai green curry which again was only okay.....the sauce was very runny. Alcohol in general was a little on the pricey side but the bar and especially the foyer were excellent for just chilling out which is exactly what we wanted. There were children in the hotel when we arrived but they certainly didn't seem to be anywhere that bothered us in our room. Unfortunately on this occasion I didn't have the chance to visit the leisure facilities. Overall I think this is a good hotel with a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Maybe check out somewhere else if you want a special evening meal. The location is super for exploring the midlands, Clonmacnoise (40 mins away by car) , Charville Castle (5 mins) and the Slieve Bloom mountains (35 mins) are all well worth visiting”

“Stayed here midweek, myself and my Husband. We were attanding Andrew Maxwell so who was on in the Hotel. The hotel itself is lovely, nice and clean and it was nice to have a small beauty Parlor. We found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly too. The big downside to this hotel and to me is the deal breaker is the very poor quality of the Food. I have to say we found the food terrible. The restaurant was closed the night we were there so we had to eat in the lounge which just serves the usual fare that they serve every where else. My husband hard GArlic mushrooms which lacked any garlic taste and he had to smother in salt just to give it any flvour. For mains we both had the Fish and chips which on the Menu states fresh cod and HOME cut fries. Well it was far from fresh fish and the chips were terrible frozen/chilled chips and the biggest insult was the mushy peas which were proccessed tinned peas. We didnt ebven eat it and rather then ask us why the waiter just took our plates no questions asked. My husband was very irate as he is a chef and couldnt belive so called chef would be happy to serve up this food and wanted to complain but i wasked him not to make a scene. Its such a shame as i said the hotel itself is really nice so if they could up there game in the food end this would be worthy of the 4 satrs it states to be.. Without going into further detail the cooked breakfast was also terrible, so much so that we couldnt eat it. I mean i dont mind sinmple food if its done well but to our minds no pride or care is taken in the food served here so for that reason i wouldnt return to this particular hotel as for me food qaulity is of utmost importance during a hotel stay..”

“First of all I found the group scheme booking process seamless and efficient. I cannot say the same for many other deals websites so well done Airport Group Scheme team. As for the Tullamore Court Hotel - they were a joy to stay with. The staff were incredibly helpful and resourceful. We had knock on our door both evenings to ask if everything was ok - I can honestly tell you in all my travelling years I have NEVER experienced that customer service from another hotel. The Deputy General Manager was so helpful and pleasant in a discreet way - she stopped my mother to take her suitcase from her and walked with us all the way to our bedroom even though we had not requested assistance. We will most certainly be back. Our only criticism (and I hate to add a negative) was that there wasn't a more secluded bar area to enjoy after dinner - the bar and restaurant are one open area that was very busy all day and evening - it would have been nice for residents to have a closed off area for a quiet drink.
